HCS HB 1970 -- MEMORIAL HIGHWAY

SPONSOR:  Dixon (Bivins)

COMMITTEE ACTION:  Voted "do pass by consent" by the Committee on
Transportation by a vote of 13 to 0.

This substitute designates a portion of Lindbergh Boulevard in
St. Louis County from its intersection with Lemay Ferry Road to
the highway's connection with Barracksview Road as the "Dave
Sinclair Boulevard."

FISCAL NOTE:  No impact on state funds in FY 2011, FY 2012, and
FY 2013.

PROPONENTS:  Supporters say that the bill will serve as a fitting
memorial for an automotive legend in the St. Louis area.

Testifying for the bill were Representative Bivins; and Mike
Kehoe, Mike Kehoe Ford.

OPPONENTS:  There was no opposition voiced to the committee.
