HB 1271 -- Official State Canine Breed and State Canine

This bill designates the Newfoundland dog as the official state
canine breed and Seaman, the Newfoundland dog which accompanied
Meriwether Lewis and William Clark on their expedition of the new
territory acquired by the United States through the Louisiana
Purchase, as the official state canine.
