HB 1356 -- Employment Practices

Sponsor:  Chappelle-Nadal

This bill prohibits a public body from entering into a public
works contract with a company that has been found guilty of
conducting discriminatory employment practices within the
preceding five years.

The bill also requires an employer to provide an employee written
cause for his or her termination of employment.
