HB 1528 -- Sales and Installation of Home Generators

Sponsor:  Schaaf

This bill prohibits a utility or affiliate from selling and
installing home generators for electrical production unless there
are no existing heating, ventilation, or air conditioning
providers in the service area.

The bill also requires every utility to comply with all local
permit and code requirements when installing heating and cooling
units.
