HB 1574 -- 911 Emergency Services Sponsor: Sander This bill requires prepaid wireless service suppliers to charge and collect a 75-cent fee each month from every prepaid wireless service user with certain exceptions. The fees collected must be paid to the governing body's jurisdiction for which 911 emergency communications service has been contracted as determined by the enhanced zip codes from the billing address of the prepaid wireless subscriber. The membership of the Committee for 911 Service Oversight is increased from 16 to 18 by adding a person to represent wireless service providers and another to represent voice over Internet protocol (VoIP) service providers. The bill also removes provisions regarding the Wireless Service Provider Enhanced 911 Advisory Board, the Wireless Service Provider Enhanced 911 Service Fund, and the fees associated with the fund.Copyright (c) Missouri House of Representatives
