HB 1611 -- Orders of Protection

This bill extends the time period for which an order of
protection will be valid from one year to up to three years and
changes the provisions of law regarding the admissibility of
statements in an abuse hearing from statements of a child younger
than 12 years of age to statements of a child younger than 14
years of age.
