HB 1617 -- Storage Fees for Towed Vehicles

This bill limits the fees that may be charged for storing a towed
vehicle to $75 per day and requires that a storage facility only
charge for days the facility is open for vehicle retrieval.  If a
vehicle is towed from a tow-away zone that is not visibly marked,
the entity that created the zone will be liable for all towing
and storage charges.
