HB 1640 -- Municipal Court Judges

This bill allows a municipal court judge to appoint an acting
county municipal court judge on a temporary basis if the judge
becomes temporarily ill or otherwise unavailable.  The person
appointed must be currently serving as a municipal court judge in
the same judicial circuit.  The bill changes the provision which
prohibits a municipal court judge from serving as a judge or
prosecutor for any other court to only apply to full-time
municipal judges.
