HB 1676 -- Public Administrators Sponsor: Sutherland This bill allows a public administrator to transfer any case to the jurisdiction of another county upon the filing of a petition for transfer and requires the court to transfer the case if the requirements for venue are met and the administrator for the receiving county consents to the transfer. The receiving county court must appoint its public administrator as successor guardian or conservator and issue the appropriate letters. In the case of a conservatorship, the final settlement must be filed within 30 days, approved in the original county, and forwarded to the receiving county. The bill also allows a court to order ward transportation upon petition of the public administrator.Copyright (c) Missouri House of Representatives
