HB 1716 -- Unclaimed Property

This bill changes the unclaimed property abandonment period for
payroll checks from five years to one year beginning January 1,
2011.

If abandoned property turned over to the state is listed solely
in the name of a government entity or political subdivision, the
amount reported may be made available as public information.
