HB 1925 -- Product Safety Sponsor: Low Beginning January 1, 2011, this bill prohibits the manufacture, sale, or distribution of certain products and containers that have certain levels of bisphenol-A. Manufacturers must use the least toxic alternative when replacing bisphenol-A in the products and containers and cannot replace bisphenol-A with carcinogens rated by the United States Environmental Protection Agency as an A, B, or C carcinogen; with substances listed as, known to be, likely to be, or suggestive of being human carcinogens as described in the List of Chemicals Evaluated for Carcinogenic Potential or known to the state to cause cancer; or with a reproductive toxicant.Copyright (c) Missouri House of Representatives
