HB 1935 -- Health Insurance Coverage for Cervical Cancer
Screenings

This bill requires all health benefit plans that are delivered,
continued, or renewed on or after January 1, 2011, to provide
coverage for periodic human papillomavirus (HPV) screenings for
cervical cancer.  The coverage cannot be subject to any greater
deductible or co-payment than other services provided by the
health plan.  Certain supplemental insurance policies are exempt
from the provisions of the bill.
