HB 1937 -- Driver's Licenses Sponsor: Low This bill allows a temporary exemption from the proof of lawful presence requirement for a victim of domestic violence who is applying for an instruction permit or driver's license. If the victim presents a certified letter from a domestic violence shelter stating that the applicant has no means of providing the required documentation because of the current situation, a temporary instruction permit or license, with a duration of up to six months, will be issued.Copyright (c) Missouri House of Representatives
