HB 1946 -- Hotel and Motel License Taxes in Fourth Class Cities

Currently, the cities of Edmundson, St. Peters, and Woodson
Terrace are limited on the amount of hotel and motel license tax
per room, per year they can collect.  Other fourth class cities,
including St. Peters, are limited on the amount they can increase
the hotel and motel license tax per year to 5% and on the total
tax they can levy to certain specified amounts.  This bill
repeals the license tax limits for all fourth class cities.
