HB 1999 -- University of Missouri Student Curator Sponsor: Pratt If Missouri loses a Congressional district following the 2010 redistricting, this bill specifies that the ninth member of the University of Missouri Board of Curators will be a student curator, selected from any congressional district, with voting privileges replacing the nonvoting student curator. The first voting student curator will be appointed in January 2011 for a two-year term and must meet all requirements currently established for the nonvoting student and will be appointed in the same manner. A student curator appointed under these circumstances may vote on the hiring or firing of general officers of the university but may not vote on any other personnel matters. If an additional campus is added to the university system, the new campus will be included in the rotation of campuses from which the student curator will be chosen.Copyright (c) Missouri House of Representatives
