HB 2053 -- School Funding

Sponsor:  Wallace

This bill allows school districts to be excused from spending
professional development funds and meeting the minimum teacher
salary in any year when the state school aid formula is not fully
funded.  If the Governor withholds funds for basic school aid,
the school district is excused from compliance the following
fiscal year.
