HB 2081 -- Use of Force to Defend an Unborn Child Sponsor: Riddle This bill specifies that a pregnant woman may use deadly force to protect her unborn child if she reasonably believes that deadly force is necessary. A pregnant woman does not have a duty to retreat before using any physical or deadly force to protect her unborn child unless she knows that retreating would secure the complete safety of her unborn child and does not create a threat to the unborn child.Copyright (c) Missouri House of Representatives
