HB 2186 -- Child Endangerment Sponsor: Still This bill renames Hope's Law to Karra's and Jocelyn's Law and specifies that the penalty for the crime of endangering the welfare of a child in the first degree will be a term of imprisonment for up to and including 20 years if an individual acts to create a substantial risk to the life, body, or health of a child by shaking a child younger than five years of age.Copyright (c) Missouri House of Representatives
