HB 2268 -- Review of Real Property Assessments

Sponsor:  Schieffer

This bill allows taxpayers who own real property to request the
assessor and the office of any other county or city official to
review the assessment of his or her real property.  The assessor
must explain the appeals process and any adjustments made to the
assessment as a result of the review.
