Summary of the Introduced Bill

HB 2281 -- Election Procedures

Sponsor: Talboy

Currently, a voter must vote for an individual candidate for each
office listed on a ballot. This bill allows an individual at a
general election to vote a straight party line ticket by voting
for all candidates of the same political party with a single
punch or mark. Procedures for counting votes on different types
of ballots and for sorting the ballots are also specified in the
bill.
