HB 2318 -- Unemployment Benefits

Currently, a claimant for unemployment compensation is
disqualified for waiting week credit or benefits if he or she has
left work voluntarily without good cause attributable to the work
or to the claimant's employer.  This bill adds an exception to
this provision by specifying that the spouse of an active member
of the United States Armed Forces will have good cause to leave
his or her employment to accompany the military spouse in the
event of a military transfer.
