HB 2375 -- Plumbing Codes

Effective August 28, 2012, this bill requires the governing body
of each county and municipality in the state to adopt, by
ordinance, a plumbing code that has equivalent or higher
standards than the uniform plumbing code as published by the
International Association of Plumbing and Mechanical Officials.
The county or municipality may adopt the code by reference as
permitted under Section 67.280, RSMo.
