HB 2403 -- Membership of Boards, Commissions, Committees, and
Councils

This bill requires the Governor to maintain and regularly update
a listing of the city or county of residence, race, gender, and
term expiration date for Governor-appointed members of each state
board, commission, committee, and council.  The information must
be submitted to the Governor by the executive officer of each
board, commission, committee, and council by May 31, 2010, and
annually thereafter, and will be maintained as public records.
All information received except information relating to race and
gender must be posted on the Governor's web site.  The Governor
must provide the information to the public upon request no later
than May 31, 2012.  The information will not include the name or
other personal identifying information of any member, and the
bill does not create any private right of action or prohibit an
individual from completing his or her term of office.
