HB 2404 -- Economic Development Sales Taxes

Currently, when the voters of any city or county defeat an
economic development sales tax proposal under Section 67.1305,
RSMo, the proposal cannot be resubmitted for at least 12 months.
This bill allows a proposal to be resubmitted to the voters of
the City of Excelsior Springs as early as 90 days from the date
on which it was first defeated.  If the proposal is defeated a
second time, it cannot be resubmitted for at least 12 months from
the date of the second vote.
