HB 2410 -- Conflicts of Interest for Elected Public Officials and Employees Sponsor: Dougherty This bill prohibits an elected official in a county or in any political subdivision in the county who is a licensed attorney from practicing criminal law before any court in the county or political subdivision if the attorney, in the exercise of his or her duties as an elected official, is entitled to vote on the budget of the court or the office of prosecuting attorney for the county or political subdivision, even if the elected official does not actually vote on the budget.Copyright (c) Missouri House of Representatives
