Summary of the Introduced Bill

HB 2446 -- Improperly Charged Sales Tax to Cellular Telephone
Customers

Sponsor:  Cunningham

This bill requires any cellular telephone company that makes an
improper city or county sales tax charge to refund the customer
three times the amount of the improperly collected tax.  Cities
may, however, retain any sales tax that was improperly collected
and paid by the cellular telephone company to the city.
