HB 2450 -- Prompt Credentialing Act Sponsor: Kirkton This bill establishes the Prompt Credentialing Act which requires a health carrier to credential a doctor of osteopathy or allopathic medicine who is licensed to practice in Missouri within 45 days of receiving a completed application or to grant a provisional credentialing status until a final decision is made. Once credentialed, a health carrier must retroactively compensate a physician for services rendered from the date of his or her application.Copyright (c) Missouri House of Representatives
