HB 2460 -- Income Tax Deduction for Student Loan Payments

Beginning January 1, 2011, this bill authorizes an individual
income tax deduction of up to $250 for the amount of payments
made on a student loan to a lending institution for the
taxpayer's educational expenses incurred at any Missouri public
institution of higher education.

The provisions of the bill will expire December 31 six years from
the effective date.
