HB 2469 -- Tampering with or Intimidating a Witness or Victim

This bill repeals the crime of victim tampering, expands the
crime of tampering with a witness to include tampering with a
victim in an official proceeding, and creates the crime of
intimidating a witness or victim in the first, second, and third
degrees.  A person committing the crime of intimidating a witness
or victim in the first degree will be guilty of a class A felony;
a class B felony if in the second degree; and a class D felony if
in the third degree.  Anyone who commits the crime will not be
eligible for probation or parole.
