HB 2471 -- Electronic Monitoring of Sexual Offenders

This bill specifies that the provisions regarding electronic
monitoring of sexual offenders will be known as Chelsea's Law and
requires devices for electronically monitoring certain sexual
offenders using global positioning systems or other technology
that identifies and records the offender's location at all times
to immediately alert the appropriate local law enforcement agency
if the offender travels into an area which has been restricted by
law.
