AN ACT

To amend chapter 37, RSMo, by adding thereto one new section relating to the acceptance of electronic payments by the office of administration.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the state of Missouri, as follows:

            Section A. Chapter 37, RSMo, is amended by adding thereto one new section, to be known as section 37.007, to read as follows:

            37.007. Within six months of August 28, 2012, the commissioner of the office of administration shall develop and implement a statewide system or contract with a third party to allow all state agencies and departments to accept payments made by a credit card, debit card, or other electronic method designated by the commissioner.
