REP. JOHN PATRICK BURNETT

 

92nd General Assembly

 

Rep. John Patrick Burnett, a Democrat, represents part of Jackson County (District 40) in the Missouri House of Representatives.� He was elected to the House in November 2002.

 

In addition to his legislative duties, Rep. Burnett is a practicing attorney with 24 years experience.

 

Rep. Burnett is a member of St. Anthony�s Catholic Church.

 

A 1964 graduate of East High School, Rep. Burnett received an associate�s degree in liberal arts from Penn Valley Community College in 1971 and his bachelor of arts in political science from the University of Missouri-Kansas City in 1975.� He received his juris doctor in 1978 from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law.

 

Born in 1946 in Kansas City, Rep. Burnett resides there with his wife Ingrid.� They have three children:� Elizabeth, Nicole and Sean.
