Rep.
Albert J. (Al) Liese, a Democrat, represents part of St. Louis County (District 79) in the Missouri
House of Representatives.� He was elected to the House in November 2002.
Rep.
Liese is a full-time legislator who retired after 29
years as an operating engineer with AmerenUE.� He also served in the United States Coast
Guard.

member of St. Blaise Church, Rep. Liese
is also a member of the Maryland Heights
and Westpoint Chamber of Commerce and St. John Bosco Century Club.�
He is also a volunteer for the United
Way.
Rep.
Liese has been honored with
the Community Service Award Superior Performance for improved parks and storm
water.

1958 graduate of Laboure
High School, Rep. Liese
attended Washington University and the University of Chicago.� He received a certificate in industrial
electronics in 1991.
Born
March 24, 1940, in Pine Lawn, Mo., Rep. Liese lives in Maryland Heights
with his wife, Rosemarie.� They have two
children:� Christopher and Patricia.
