HB 1356 -- Police Retirement System of Kansas City Sponsor: Johnson (47) This bill authorizes an additional benefit of $10 per month for members of the Police Retirement System of Kansas City who retired prior to August 28, 2000, or who retired due to a disability prior to August 28, 2001. The term "member" includes the surviving spouse of a member who qualifies under this provision. The additional benefit and any cost-of-living increases cannot exceed 25% of the member's base pension.
