HB1634I-HOMEOWNER GRANT PROGRAM FUND
Summary of the Introduced Bill

HB 1634 -- Homeowner Grant Program Fund

Sponsor:  Wells

This bill creates the Homeowner Grant Program Fund which will
consist of moneys appropriated annually by the General Assembly
and any gifts, bequests, or donations for grants up to $10
million to be used for the construction of new homes in Missouri.

The State Treasurer will administer and approve disbursements to
Missouri residents from the fund.  Each approved Missouri
resident will receive a one-time grant equal to $5,000.  The
total of all grants expended cannot exceed $10 million.

The bill contains an emergency clause.
