HB 503 -- PRESIDENTIAL PRIMARY ELECTIONS (Dugger) COMMITTEE OF ORIGIN: Committee on Elections This bill repeals a provision requiring a statewide presidential primary to be held on the first Tuesday after the first Monday in February any year in which a presidential election is held and sets the presidential primary to be held on the first Tuesday after the first Monday in March of each presidential election year. FISCAL NOTE: No impact on state funds in FY 2012, FY 2013, and FY 2014.
