HB 1744 -- PANCREATIC CANCER AWARENESS (Kelley, 126) COMMITTEE OF ORIGIN: Committee on Tourism and Natural Resources This bill designates the month of November as "Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Month" and encourages Missourians to participate in appropriate activities and events to increase awareness of pancreatic cancer, which is incurable and has a low rate of survival due to the advanced stage of the disease when symptoms typically present themselves. FISCAL NOTE: No impact on state funds in FY 2013, FY 2014, and FY 2015.
