HB 1413 -- Pari-mutuel Wagering

This bill authorizes off-track pari-mutuel wagering through
facilities licensed by the Missouri Horse Racing Commission.
Provisions of the bill include:

(1) Limitations on the number of facilities operated in the
state;

(2) Procedures for application, administration, and operation of
off-track wagering facilities;

(3) Procedures for investigation and licensure by the Missouri
Horse Racing Commission, including fees for these processes; and

(4) Creation of the Missouri Elementary and Secondary Education

Technology Training Fund for deposit of a portion of the state
proceeds from off-track wagering.
