AN ACT

Relating to certain telecommunications services.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the state of Missouri, as follows:

Section 1. 1. As used in this section, the meanings of words and phrases shall have the same meaning as given to such words and phrases in section 386.020, RSMo.

2. A telecommunications company that provides operator services with this state shall ensure that a user of such service may access a live operator by dialing "O".

3. The requirements of this section shall not apply to telephones located in any correctional or detention facility.
