AN ACT

To amend chapter 335, RSMo, relating to nurses by adding thereto one new section relating to the same subject.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the state of Missouri, as follows:

Section A. Chapter 335, RSMo, is amended by adding thereto one new section, to be known as section 335.083, to read as follows:

335.083. No insurer or employer shall retaliate against or otherwise penalize any nurse licensed pursuant to the provisions of this chapter who has reasonable cause to believe that a patient is receiving or has received inadequate care and such nurse makes a good faith report of the same.
