Biography
Representative Tonya Rush, a Democrat, proudly represents part of St. Louis County (District 67) in the Missouri House of Representatives. She was elected to her first two-year term in November 2024.
Rep. Rush attended Normandy High School and has spent over 14 years as a dedicated healthcare provider. She is also a licensed Realtor in the state of Missouri. Her career reflects her commitment to serving others and improving the well-being of her community.
A family-oriented individual, Rep. Rush has been happily married to her husband, Terrell, for 25 years. Together, they have two adult children, Lakeah and Terrell Jr., who are an important part of her life and values.
Rep. Rush’s experience in healthcare and her strong family foundation guide her work in the legislature as she strives to make a positive impact on her district and the state of Missouri.
