Biography
Representative Jeff Vernetti, a Republican, represents Camden County (District 123) in the Missouri House of Representatives. He was elected to his first term in November of 2024.
Born in St. Louis, Vernetti graduated from Lafayette High School in 1995. Then in 1999 he graduated from Southeast Missouri State University with a B.S. in Mass Communications.
A local business owner and real estate developer, Vernetti has spearheaded numerous projects in the Lake of the Ozarks area. He co-founded and co-owns Ballparks National, a nationally recognized youth baseball and softball complex. During his tenure as General Manager, Ballparks National hosted over 5,000 games, drawing teams from 21 states and contributing millions to the local economy. The facility employs over 50 staff members and has received accolades, including Missouri’s Best Youth Sports Complex. Vernetti also co-owns LOZ Sports Training, the region’s premier youth sports facility, and Vernetti’s Italian Grocer, a specialty market offering St. Louis-style Italian fare.
Before relocating to the Lake area, Vernetti worked in St. Louis as a sports broadcaster and business owner, gaining experience in sales, marketing, and operations management. With a career spanning sales leadership roles across multiple industries, Vernetti brings extensive expertise in budget management, personnel oversight, and community development to his role in public service.
He is involved in a number of local organizations and charities and sits on the board of directors for Central Ozarks Medical Center (COMC), the Lake West Chamber of Commerce, the Lake of the Ozarks Regional Economic Development Council, and is a member of the Camdenton Rotary Club, the Osage Beach Elks Club, and Calvary Chapel Lake of the Ozarks.
Vernetti and his wife, Kelly, live in Camdenton and have two children, Dominick and Isabella.
