Biography
Representative Dave Hinman, a Republican, represents part of St. Charles County (District 103) in the Missouri House of Representatives. He was elected to his first two-year term in November 2022.
Prior to his service in the legislature, Hinman retired in 2021 after 35 years of service with the QuikTrip Corporation. Most recently he served his community as a member of the O’Fallon City Council.
During his time in office, he was selected to serve as the O’Fallon City Council President Pro Tempore. Hinman has also served as an Alderman for the O’Fallon City Council and as a Commissioner for the City of O’Fallon Planning and Zoning Commission. He also served on the Board of Directors for the O’Fallon Fire Protection District and as the President of the St. Charles County Municipal League.
Hinman is active in several civic and benevolent organizations such as the O’Fallon Elks Lodge and Knights of Columbus.
Hinman is a graduate of Iowa State University where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Hotel, Restaurant, and Institution Management.
Born in Alabama and raised in Iowa, Hinman has lived in O’Fallon since 1990 with his wife, Kathy. They have three children and five grandchildren. He and his wife attend O’Fallon’s Assumption Catholic Church where Hinman serves as an usher and greeter for mass services.
