HB 1327 -- Conflict Resolution and Anger Management Training

This bill requires the Department of Higher Education to
promulgate rules, before July 1, 2000, requiring all
undergraduate students pursuing a bachelor's degree in
elementary or secondary education at any public college or
university in the state to receive training in student anger
management and conflict resolution, and in student peer
mediation.  The bill also allows the State Board of Elementary
and Secondary Education to incorporate this requirement for
training into any teaching certificate issued by the board.
