AN ACT

To amend chapter 28, RSMo, by adding thereto one new section relating to duties of the secretary of state.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the state of Missouri, as follows:

            Section A. Chapter 28, RSMo, is amended by adding thereto one new section, to be known as section 28.135, to read as follows:

            28.135. The secretary of state shall establish a toll-free telephone number or shall attempt to utilize, if available, 1-800-4GROWTH for business inquiries. Such number shall be accessible during normal business hours and shall be answered by personnel of the secretary of state. Such personnel shall be trained to respond to such business inquires and shall direct such inquires to the appropriate state agency.
