HB 465 -- Social Security Numbers

This bill requires that any request for an individual's social
security number by a state department, division, agency, bureau,
board, commission, employee, or agent be accompanied by a
statement that declares that no person is required to provide
his or her social security number except as required by federal
law or regulation, but may do so if he or she chooses to.

The bill also allows the various state entities to use up their
current inventory of forms before being required to comply with
this law.
