Rep. Tim Harlan's Bio
REP. TIMOTHY HARLAN
Rep. Timothy Harlan, a Democrat, represents part of Boone County (District 23) in the
Missouri House of Representatives.
Elected to his first two-year term in 1994, Rep. Harlan serves on the following House
committees: Children, Youth, and Families; Judiciary and Ethics; Rules, Joint Rules, Bills
Perfected and Printed; Social Services, Medicaid, and the Elderly; and Workers Compensation
and Employment Security.
In addition to his legislative duties, Rep. Harlan is a lawyer.
Rep. Harlan is a member of the Presbyterian Church, Missouri Association of Trial
Attorneys, and National Organization of Social Security Representatives.
A 1967 graduate of Boonville High School, Rep. Harlan holds a degree in history from
Westminster College and a law degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
Born March 5, 1949, in Boonville, Rep. Harlan currently resides in Columbia with his
wife, Linda, and their children, Reed and Brook.
