Biography
Rep. Tommie Pierson, Jr., a Democrat, represents parts of St. Louis County and St. Louis City (District 66) in the Missouri House of Representatives. He was elected to his first two-year term in November 2016.
In addition to his legislative duties, Rep. Pierson, Jr. is a math teacher in North St. Louis County and the pastor of inStep Church.
Rep. Pierson, Jr. graduated from Parkway North High School in 1991. He earned his bachelor’s in applied math in 1995 from Washington University in St. Louis and a master of arts in theological studies from Covenant Theological Seminary in 2009.
Rep. Pierson, Jr. was born in St. Louis, MO and is the son of former Missouri State Representative Tommie Pierson. He currently resides in St. Louis with his wife and three children.
