Rep. Justin Hill, a Republican, represents part of St. Charles County (District 108) in the Missouri House of Representatives. He was elected to his first two-year term in November 2014.
In addition to his legislative duties, Rep. Hill currently is an Employee Benefits Consultant. He previously served with the O’Fallon Police Department for 13 years. During that time, Rep. Hill was assigned to the St. Charles County Regional Drug Task Force as an undercover detective and to the Drug Enforcement Administration as a Task Force Officer. Rep. Hill finished his law enforcement career as a patrol sergeant in 2014.
Rep. Hill attended De Smet Jesuit High School in Creve Coeur, MO. He holds an associate’s degree in criminal justice from St. Louis Community College and a bachelor’s degree in management from Bellevue University.
Rep. Hill, his wife Mandy, and their four children are members of the Immaculate Conception Church of Dardenne.
Modifies provisions relating to private probation services for misdemeanor offenders
Changes the law relating to short term medical policies sold in the state of Missouri.
Specifies that lawful owners of firearms may transport or store the firearms in locked, privately-owned motor vehicles
Changes the laws relating to labor organizations
Establishes the "Occupational Regulation Defense Act"
Requires certain municipal police departments in St. Louis County to consolidate with another municipal police department or the St. Louis County Police Department
Establishes the "Missouri Reinsurance Plan."
Adds provisions relating to the payment of certain claims
Proposes a constitutional amendment to extend the due date of personal property taxes to the last day of February
Proposes a constitutional amendment to modify the membership of the Conservation Commission
