Rep. Tom Hannegan, a Republican, represents part of St. Charles County, including northern St. Charles (District 65), in the Missouri House of Representatives. He was elected to his first two-year term in November 2016.
Rep. Hannegan graduated from Duchesne High School in 1988. He received his bachelor’s from Lindenwood College in 1992, and received his Master of Science in Human Resources from Lindenwood University in 1998.
In addition to his legislative duties, Rep. Hannegan serves as publisher and editor-in-chief of Street Scape Magazine. He is also an Associate-Broker with Hannegan Real Estate & Construction, LLC, a family owned business.
Born in St. Louis, Rep. Hannegan currently resides in St. Charles.
Authorizes the early parole of certain offenders over the age of seventy
Modifies provisions relating to unlawful discriminatory practices
Allows counties, cities, towns, and villages to charge an additional $1 fee on car rentals, with the proceeds to be used for road and bridge improvements
Provides that the practices of cosmetology and barbering do not include shampooing
Provides that a person cannot be sentenced to death if he or she raises the issue that he or she suffered from a serious mental illness at the time of the commission of the offense
Modifies provisions for tax levies by a county for the county convention and sports facilities authority.
